Comparison over older vehicle[]
In one episode of Fifth Gear, a 3 year old Modus was crashed into a 15 year old Volvo 940 estate to determine which car is safer. They were crashed at speeds of 80 mph and amazingly, the Modus' safety cell wasn't much affected apart from a tiny intrusion of the impact. The Volvo however was seriously deformed by the impact.
