WorldwideEdit

In Australia, the Corsa was sold there as the new Holden Barina replacing the deceased Suzuki Swift. It was highly praised for its safety and is the safest small car of its time. But in 2006, the model replacement was no longer viable due to the increased exchange rates rendering it less compatible. The Australian-bound Corsa was phased out and replaced with the cheaper Daewoo Kalos.

Design quirks and odditiesEdit

In the What Women Want survey conducted by the RACV in 2003, the Holden Barina (known in the Australasian market) is the most popular choice among women buying a Holden.
