According to Hammond, blandness commits the worst crime of badness and he also pointed out that the car has no personality and features. The car was burnt down by a jet powered dragster. [2]

The other presenter of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson declared the Nissan Sunny the 'worst car in the world, ever'. In the 1996 feature Clarkson: Unleashed On Cars, he destroyed one by flinging it from a trebuchet pulled by a tractor.
