Styles and Trims.Edit

From 1982 to 1986 the trims were GL and G. In 1986, a wagon was introduced. From 1987-1992, the trims were GXE, XE, and E. In 1990, the E trim was dropped, and replaced with the SE. However, the SE wasn't the lowest priced trim, as was the E.

Third generation (1987–1992)Edit

Last generation for the Stanza as it would be replaced by the Altima. In 1989, Nissan updated the grille and rear headlights of the Stanza, making this model year distinct from the 1987 and 1988 Stanzas.

Second generation (1982–1986)Edit

The Stanza was now front wheel drive. The 1982 and 1983 models had the same 2.0 liter engine as before, with a choice of a 2-barrel Hitachi carburetor or fuel injection. Injection became standard in the 1984 model year.

First Generation/Origins (1973–1981)Edit

This generation was sold in the US as the Datsun 510. Engine was a 2Bbl 2.0 liter 4-cylinder. Fuel injection was introduced as an option for the 1980 and 1981 models.

This car was sold in Europe up until the 1985 model year. In Japan, this car was sold until its discontinuation in 1992.
