The McLaren F1 GT was produced as a homologated version of the 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Long Tail Race Car. It used the original F1's 627bhp BMW M Sport V12 Engine.

It has never publicly come up for sale though 56XPGT is still (as far as is known) in McLaren's possesion. 54F1GT was originally shipped to the current Sultan of Brunei, although there are rumors it is now in England. 58F1GT has been previously exhibited in the ZAZ museum in Japan, although it has not been seen for a while.

The F1 GT was produced in three different colours: 56XPGT - Green (often looks like Black in photos) 58F1GT - Burgundy (later repainted to Grey) 54F1GT - Black
