The Lincoln Blackwood was a luxury pickup truck from the Lincoln division of the Ford Motor Company. It was sold in the United States in 2002 only, and sold in Mexico for 2002 and 2003.
The Blackwood was a luxury-trimmed version of the Ford F-150 Crew Cab pickup truck. The success of the Lincoln Navigator emboldened the company to pursue the first-ever luxury pickup truck, while Cadillac was in pursuit of the Escalade EXT.
The Blackwood's sales began in October 2001, but was quickly discontinued after the 2002 model year. The Blackwood sales were extremely low, while the Escalade EXT soared.
Lincoln released another pickup truck in 2005, the Lincoln Mark LT, where it was too most recently discontinued in the U.S., but sales continue in Mexico.
