The Lexus IS-F is the motorsport version of the successful Lexus IS series. Launched as a new 2008 model, the Lexus IS-F features a 5.0L V8 engine mated with an 8-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission. The IS-F produces 416 hp, and promises a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds.

This is the first vehicle in the motorsport class to feature an 8-speed automatic transmission.
InteriorEdit
The interior is similar to the regular IS, but adds carbon fiber panels, F-badging, blue stitching, and a different white interior color is available. The gauges are also modified.
CriticismsEdit
The exterior appearance of the IS-F has drawn some criticism from some reviewers.

Design quirks and odditiesEdit
The sloped bulge on the hood is to accomodate the larger 5.0L V8 engine.
In the UK, a handful of IS-Fs are used as police interceptors for the Humberside Police.
