Examples of hybrid technology include Gas-Electric hybrids. An electric motor compliments the gas motor for greater range and efficiency. Generally, the energy created in the braking process recharges the batteries. Additional examples includes Gas-Kinetic hybrids and Gas-Propane hybrids.
