The GMC Topkick (also called Chevrolet Kodiak) is a General Motors pickup truck model.

UltimateEdit

A conversion of the commercial GMC Topkick called the Ultimate Class IV Topkick Pickup crewcab pickup truck was developed by General Motors and Monroe Truck Equipment (MTE). This special version features an 8-foot (2.4 m) steel dually pickup box and tailgate with custom composite side panels and protective Rhino interior lining. This vehicle serves as the alternate mode for the character Ironhide in the 2007 and 2009 Transformers films, as seen in the image at right.

Recent ChangesEdit

They stopped making the Topkick/ Kodiak in 2009, because, the GM assholes killed the Medium-Duty Trucks 2009. Fuck them. They are such bastards.

Design quirks and odditiesEdit

  • A Black GMC Topkick was used for the character of "Ironhide" in the movies Transformers" and "Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen.
  • A stretched Topkick chassis was used as the basis for Barack Obama's Presidential Cadillac Limousine. As a result the car is enormous, even having to utilize componentry from the Cadillac Escalade to be proportionally correct, and was affectionately nicknamed by the Secret Service as 'The Beast'.
