Toyota Innova is a mid size MPV manufactured by Toyota. The car was designed in Indonesia,and later sold in Malaysia,India, Philippine,Vietnam,and Thailand.The car is nammed Kijang Innova in Indonesia,which is the successor of the legendary Toyota Kijang.

2004 Toyota Innova.
It was introduced in 2004 in Indonesia, as a replacement for the Toyota Kijang, which has been the best selling car in the country for generations. In Indonesia, it was named Kijang Innova to carry out the Kijang heritage. As for the international market, it is simply called Toyota Innova.
In 2006, Toyota improved the fuel economy as a response to consumer's critics. In 2007, they added catalyc converter to reduce air pollution.
In 2008, it received a new grille, as well as a new color for the rear lights. The grille is often critized for looking too much like its cheaper brother, the Toyota Avanza.

The 2009 facelift has some facial changes such as a new horizontal grille,new bumpers and headlights that follows the design trend of the recent Toyota models,new wood trim colour,new rims design,and some new features. The rear lights color is changed again.

Another facelift was made in 2013 with a brand face and rear lights design. Some parts of the interior are also changed to resemble the currrent models of the brand. The new styling receive controversial testimonies, as well as its key locking beep sound which is criticized by some for being too loud, causing noise pollution to the others.

Toyota Innova is available with twelve trims out of which its three trims are equipped with the petrol engine. These petrol models of Toyota Innova are powered by the 2.0L, 1998cc, 1TR-FE, Gasoline, 4 Inline Cylinder petrol engine with EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection). This engine delivers high engine performance and produces 132 PS of maximum power at 5600rpm with 181 Nm of maximum torque at 4000rpm.
The remaining nine trims of Toyota Innova are equipped with 2.5L, 2494cc, 2KD-FTV, Diesel With Turbocharger, 4 Inline Cylinder and with Common-Rail Direct Injection fuel supply system. This engine delivers higher engine performance with excellent acceleration and lower level of NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness). Innova's 7 year old platform managed to survive until the third generation.The front fascia has been changed into a more airstream design,following recend Toyota's vibrant clarity design.Somehow the new grille,which actually ressembles the vibrant clarity design,look a bit like the first generation.Rear lights design has been changed.Once again,the interior color has been changed in order to make it feel brand new.Wood color was replaced by a dark gloss piano-like color.
Second generation (2009-2010)[]
The second generation of Innova has a minor change.The grille has been redesigned into a V shape style.The rear lights have a different color from the previous one and the rims have a new design.Inside,the light color interior was replaced by a more tanned color.The wood trim color is also changed into a brighter one.This facelift only survived for 2 years.
