The Lamborghini Alar 777 was a concept for a mid-engined sports car that was to be produced by Lamborghini Latino America. A unit was rumored to cost $750,000 each. The Alar was heavily based on the Diablo especially in the areas of chassis and engine. Other components are made locally by the company. The Alar was supposed to debut in 2007 at the Buenos Aires Motor Show.
Lamborghini has denied that the Alar is officially authorised in any shape or form and also stressed that no licence agreement exists to use the Lamborghini marque in South America. Prior to this, the Alar is most likely scrapped, but virtually nothing else is known about this car so no one can say that for sure.

Unique Attributes[]
Although it shares the same platform and engine as the Lamborghini Diablo its outer styling is completely different. Its styling is reminiscent of the Lamborghini Coatl, which is another car produced by Lamborghini Latinoamérica and designed by Joan Ferci. Like the Alar the Coatl is also based on the earlier Diablo. The Alar 777 gets a tuned version of the Diablo's V12, which produces more than 700bhp. That's enough for a reported top speed of 223mph.
