The Lobini H1 is a Brazilian sports car, which was manufactured by Lobini[1]
The vehicle was born from the dream of entrepreneurs José Orlando Lobo and Fábio Birolini (the combination of their last names gave origin to the Lobini brand) who invested US$ 2 million in resources to make this car come true. This project, born in the middle of 1999 still as a prototype, officially entered in production in April 2005 and was based on English sports cars such as the Lotus. In 2006 Brax Automóveis acquired Lobini and its factory is located in Cotia (SP).
Its greatest triumph is its low weight of only 1,025 kilograms, It has rear-wheel drive and brakes supplied by Teves with 288mm ventilated discs at the front and solid 240mm at the rear without ABS to ensure the fun of a true sportsman, mounted on PZero 205/45ZR 17 tires at the front and 225/45ZR 17 at the rear.
Engine[]
The H1 has an I4, 20V turbocharged 1.8L engine, the same as used in the Brazilian Volkswagen Golf GTI, transversally mounted in front of the rear axle. It attains 178 hp (133 kW; 180 PS) at 5700 rpm, and makes the H1 go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.5 seconds. With this engine, the car has a maximum speed of 225 km/h (140 mph).
