The Pista de Velocidade Vasco Sameiro (also known as Circuito de Braga) is located in Port
ugal, 6 km north of the city of Braga, in Palmeira.
The Track[]
The circuito de Braga was built in 1990 and was opened in 1993. The course is run in the opposite direction to clockwise, and its configuration remained constant since its inauguration. The width of the track varies between 11 and 14 feet, having 12 turns, eight of them to the left and to the right 5 and 6 is straight, the straight line being the greater of the target with a length of 898 meters.
The plot surrounds a runway take-off and still has a kart track used kart world championship in 2000 and 2005.
The track speed, which is owned by the Clube Automóvel do Minho , receives mainly domestic competitions. In 2009, he received the first international event, the fifth edition of the European Cup Car Championship (ETCC)
The FIA awarded level 3 in the last approval made to the circuit, on March 11, 2008.
