Blur

Blur (Stylized as blur) is a street racing video game created by Bizarre Creations and published by Activision. The game features real world cars and locations used for vehicular combat.

Gameplay[]

Blur features many game modes. The most popular and used is its carreer mode. There, you must race your way to become the top racer in the Blur Series. Players earn the right to race the top driver in its division by winning races and completing tasks to earn lights, the game's XP. Once you complete all tasks and earn a certain amount of lights, you may challenge the top racer in the division. These drivers are extremely competitive and use modifide cars to secure wins. However, with the right car and powerups, the game's weapons, you can easily take your oppenent down.

Blur is considered one of the toughest racing games to play even while playing on easy difficulty. However, it also contains one of the most complex and greatest graphic systems known to gaming.

Multiplayer[]

Along with the single player carreer mode, multiplayer was also added to Blur. You can compete in four player split screen or compete in a twenty player online.

Sales And Reception[]

According to the NPD, Blur sold 31,000 copys in its first five days.

Most gamers gave Blur great reception due to the game being a heavy challenge for players and for the game's amazing graphic system.

Sequel[]

Orginally, a sequel was planned but on November 6 2010, Activision shut down Bizzare Creations due to Blur being their only well sold game. Activision though is planning on another of their racing creaters make a sequel such as Ennuyeux (Creater of NASCAR The Game) Currently, the racing franchise has seen many games made in the past few years and Activision stated that they will only release a sequel once the racing franchise dies down in sales.
