Devin was responsible for a variety of innovations such as demonstrating the worlds first OHV rubber toothed belt which has become standard on most modern engines.[1]

The 1956 SCCA National Champion was a Devin car running the Panhard bottom-end a pair of Norton "Manx" motorcycle cylinders with overhead cams driven with rubber toothed belts.
