The 1973 World Championship for Makes and International Grand Touring Trophy seasons were the 21st season of the FIA World Sportscar Championship. It was a series for Sportscars and Grand Touring. It ran from February 3, 1973 to July 21, 1973, and was composed of ten races.

Points were awarded to the top 10 finishers in the order of 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1. Manufacturers were only given points for their highest finishing car; any other cars from that manufacturer were merely skipped in the points standings.
