1973 L&M Championship season
Previous: 1972 Next: 1974

The 1973 L&M Championship season was the seventh annual running of the Sports Car Club of America's open wheel racing series. Formula One cars were dropped entirely this year, leaving the popular five liter Chevrolets as the only vehicles entered. 1973 was also the beginning of the decline of the SCCA, with the Trans Am Series entering its decline into an IMSA format. Can Am would end its first run one year later.
