The 1972 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One race held at Monaco on May 14, 1972. This was the only race where the pits were relocated to just after the old chicane, and the chicane was relocated to just before Tabac. Next year they started use of the longer circuit, after the swimming pool was installed and the tunnel was lengthened. Jean-Pierre Beltoise's victory was the only one of his Formula One World Championship career, and the last for BRM.
